Casino Rama is a large hotel and casino resort in the town of Rama in Ontario, Canada. Situated on reserve land of the Chippewas of Rama First Nation, the resort is the largest first Nation casino in Canada. Originally built in 1996, the whole complex is now 20 years old and still very popular. Casino Rama is the only commercial casino in Ontario that is owned by a First Nations company. The casino itself is managed under Ontario Lottery and Gaming, as are all casino’s on the Ontario area. Casino Rama is very active in community projects in the area as well supporting local businesses and various non profit organisations.
